Overview

The small island of Contoy is part of the Mexican Caribbean; it is located in front of the Yucatan coast and is home to one of the most impressive marine animals: the whale shark, which comes each year looking for warm waters. Adventure activities are: snorkel to admire the numerous aquatic species. We will also have the opportunity to admire dolphins, mantas, bird species and many other great animals in wild.

Schedules:

Duration of the program: from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm approx.

0:00 AM pick up in Playa del Carmen (05:00 in Tulum).

07:30 AM informative briefing at Playa Mujeres (inside hotel boutique La Amada).

08:00 AM Departure from "Playa Muejeres" towards the Whale Shark Reserve. Once we find it you will have the unique opportunity to snorkel with the biggest fish in the world.

12:00 PM Enjoy snorkeling in a pristine coral reef.

12:30 PM Lunch on the boat.

01:30 PM Arrival at the marina Hacienda del Mar and transfer back to your hotel.

03:00 PM Arrival in Playa del Carmen

Snorkeling equipment.
Round transportation aboard comfortable units.
Guide (Biologist or Naturalist).
Light Lunch, soft drinks and purified water.

Alcoholic beverages, souvenirs or any other extra cost service at the locations, gratuities.

Children under 8 pay 70% from the adult fee; the minimum age to participate is 5 years.
The 5% of the tourist fee is donated for projects to protect the nature along the Maya zone

Bring towels, comfortable clothes and shoes, swimming suit. We also recommend to enjoy these adventure activities to bring hat, long sleeve cotton shirt and pants, impermeable jacket, and hygienic personal stuff
This adventure tour has a limited capacity of 10 persons per boat, so we strongly recommend to reserve in advance
Bring extra cash money for souvenirs, photo & video, etc.
Due to the care we take of the environment, we only recommend biodegradable sun block lotion and repellent of insects.
