General
Tulum municipality is the largest Riviera Maya community in the state of Quintana Roo, in Mexico. It is located on the Caribbean coast of the state in Yucatan Peninsula, where you can find the site of the archaeological ruins of Tulum. Migration documents are very important to get into Cancun International Airport in Mexico. Valid passport with photo and return or onward ticket are mandatory for everybody, and visa is required for some countries, so, please double check with your migration department and your travel agent.
Currency – ATM´s
Our Tulum Akumal city guide indicates that the US currency is widely accepted mostly everywhere. The prices on food and beverages, in hotels and for activities are regularly expressed in US dollars. You would like to know that ATMs on Tulum Akumal destination usually accept all international bank cards.

The same as in the US: a voltage of 110 AC. An adaptor could be helpful anyway.
