During day – In the water
In a Caribbean destination the water sports are the main activities and here you can do waterskiing, parasailing, paddle boating, windsurfing and Swimming with dolphins. There are also interesting glass bottom boats to discover the undersea. You can also rent sails or motor boats all over Riviera Maya coasts for trips to secluded beaches and cays, while snorkeling or diving.
During day – In land
When you are not going to the beach, you may visit Maya villages, touring mysterious lost Mayan temples, As soon as you touch the land, the activities continue going to visit Tulum Mayan ruins or taking Eco-Tours to be in touch with nature, there are also horseback riding, biking, hiking, bird watching, golf, and photography tours. Spas and health centers have treatments to indulge you.
Nightlife – Hot Spots
Some resorts and hotels have night entertainment offering couples an incredible candlelight and moonlight romantic ambiance, with classical piano or guitar. Other family places have kids menu and babysitting for you to be able to enjoy more.
Tulum Akumal is very quiet and does not have a lot of nightlife, but you could easily go to Playa del Carmen which is only 20 minutes driving and get in to any of its nightclubs.
